ResTaker.com respects your privacy. We will never sell, exchange, or release your personal information to third parties outside the ResTaker.com site without your consent.
Information You Volunteer
We collect personally identifiable information that you choose to provide us when you subscribe to our services. Personally identifiable information is information that can identify you, such as your full name, email address, postal address, telephone number, fax number or other information that can be used to contact you or identify you as an individual.
How we use the information we collect
We use personally identifiable information that you provide, to communicate with you and to process orders for services. We may use your contact information to send you notices for subscription renewal or to provide you with information about services you've ordered.
How we share information
Except as noted below, ResTaker.com does not share your personally identifiable information with third parties unless you give us your permission or we need to share such information in order to provide services you have requested. For example, we use third parties such as PayPal to help in processing payments and fulfilling orders for services offered by ResTaker.com.
We will disclose personally identifiable information when required by law or under the good-faith belief that such disclosure is necessary in order to conform to applicable law and to protect the property or interests of ResTaker.com, its agents and employees, personal safety, or the public.
Making changes to your Personally Identifiable Information
You may review the personally identifiable information we have on file by logging in and clicking the Profile and Settings tabs on your control Panel. Once there, there you may modify information that is incorrect and delete certain information from your profile.
Security and Server Security Management
As with your privacy, we take the security of your personally identifiable information very seriously. Your calendar and data (including your customer lists etc) resides on our secure servers. During sessions in which information such as credit card numbers are processed, we encrypt your transmissions using SSL (“Secure Sockets Layer”) technology. We keep the personally identifiable information you provide on servers that are protected by firewalls and other technological means against intrusion or unauthorized access. They are located in a physically secure facility, and only our employees and agents with a need to know the information are given access. And while no amount of security can give a perfect guarantee, you can have a high degree of confidence that the personally identifiable information you give us is protected from unauthorized access and use. We rely on you to select passwords that cannot be guessed easily and to safeguard those passwords from disclosure.
Our servers utilize SecureCentral™ PatchQuest, an industry-respected patch management solution designed for use in enterprise environments to identify vulnerabilities, schedule multiple expedient simultaneous security updates, and keep hosting environments at an optimal security level. Security updates and patches are seamlessly applied on an automated, ongoing basis. SecureCentral™ PatchQuest is CVE compliant, making it a leader in security software allowing us to bring you the most up-to-date security standards available.
Another key component of this unique network infrastructure, the Advanced Automated Network Monitoring System, allows us to ensure that your website is available to the world 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The network reliability metrics are among the best in the industry, helping ensure that there is no loss of visitors.
Our hosting company has won several awards in the areas of reliability, security, and network response times. All of the servers are protected by high-end managed Liebert and APC UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) battery power backups, which are able to sustain the network for much longer than is needed for the natural gas generators to become activated. These generators utilize a constant supply of natural gas and, as such, are able to supply power indefinitely in the event of an extended power outage.
We monitor network traffic to ensure that our site remains available to all users and to identify unauthorized attempts to access, upload, or change information or otherwise cause damage. Unauthorized access is prohibited and is punishable under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986, and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act. Please contact us if you have any information regarding unauthorized use of the ResTaker.com site.
